PURPOSE:To provide a sorter simply operated without any erroneous operation when a user changes a bin tray and adapted to inform the other users of the change easily. CONSTITUTION:While a plurality of bin trays 10 for stacking and supporting by function recording paper sheets having images formed in an image forming device body 1 engage removably sorter body 3a attached to the image former body 1 having a plurality of functions, discharged paper conveying paths 31, 32, 33 for affording communication selectively between the bin tray 10 and the paper discharge means 2 of the image forming device body 1 are formed. The paper conveying paths 31-33 are changed according to the function by a conveying path changing-over means 30 operated on the basis of a control signal from the operating section of the image forming device body 1. Engaging sections 35, 36 of the bin tray 10 and sorter body 3a are provided with a bin tray discriminating means 37 for distinguishing the respective bin trays 10 while inputting the distinguishing result to the operating section of the image forming device body 1. |
