PURPOSE:To prevent the hooking of a construction material even through the structure is in contact with the mechanism side leg of a suspending device when the construction material is hung and transferred, or moved vertically, to operate a strong holding force constantly to the construction material in the transferring, and to prevent a drop of the construction material in the transferring time. CONSTITUTION:This suspending device is composed of a reverse U-shaped clamp main body 1 consisting of a horizontal part 1-a, a mechanism side leg 1-b projecting from one side end of the horizontal part 1-a, and a fixed side leg 1-c projecting from the other side end of the horizontal part 1-a; a fixed side pad 16 provided at the inner side surface of the fixed side leg 1-c; a movable side pad 15 provided at the inner side surface of the mechanism side leg 1-b and holding a suspending member T; a suspending ring 6 to suspend the clamp main body 1; a link mechanism 4 to connect the suspending ring 6 and the movable side pad 15, and thereby to project the movable side pad 15 from the mechanism side leg 1-b when the clamp main body 1 is suspended; and a cover member 3.
