PURPOSE: To prevent excessive liquid from slopping out in removal of the cap. CONSTITUTION: The collection assembly comprises a container 12 having an integrated labrum part 34 for facilitating blood collection and a cap 14 suitable for sealing the container 12. Said collection assembly furthermore comprises seal-structures 48 and 70 for fixing the cap 14 on the container 12, and a cam- follower 74 installed within the cap for interacting with the labrum part integrated with the container 12 and removing the cap 14 from the container 12. The container 12 has a cap-seat flange 40, and a well 42 is provided inside the flange to accept excessive blood. |
