PURPOSE:To provide a sheath device for an endoscope capable of maintaining the antifogging effect of an observation window part by easily and inexpensively renewing an antifogging treatment means installed to the cover glass in this observation window part by constitution relatively simple in the structure over the entire part in the case of removing water drops and stains by spraying a washing liquid to the observation window part. CONSTITUTION:This sheath device for the endoscope includes a sheath 12 into and from which the endoscope insertion part 5 is inserted and removed, a cover member 32 which is disposed at the front end of this sheath 12, covers at least the observation window part disposed at the front end of the endoscope insertion part 5, has a transparent part facing at least the observation window part and subjected to an antifogging treatment in this transparent part and a nozzle 36 for washing which is disposed at this cover member 32 and sprays fluid to the outside surface of the transparent part facing the observation window part. |
