PURPOSE:To obtain a resin molded article with a fine pattern by a method wherein a thermally softened resin sheet and a melt resin are simultaneously compression molded by using an air-permeable, pressure-resistant porous upper mold having a molding surface engraved with the fine pattern and a lower mold having a molding surface corresponding to the upper mold. CONSTITUTION:A melt resin 18 is pressed to spread as a substrate 1. At the same time, a resin sheet 17 is pressurized in a heated and softened state to be shaped along a molding surface. A fine pattern 15A of an upper mold 15 is transferred to the surface of the resin sheet 17, whereby a skin 3 is formed. The skin 3 containing a P, P foam 2 is laminated with the substrate 1. In this manner, a resin molded article with the fine pattern can be produced. As a space S formed between the resin sheet 17 and the porous upper mold 15 is gradually reduced, air in the space S is pressurized to be discharged outside through a large number of pares of the porous upper mold 15. Therefore, the resin sheet 17 is positively brought into close contact with the molding surface of the upper mold 15, and a resin molded article with the fine pattern 15A reliably transferred can be obtained. |
