PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating resin compsn. which is suitable for coating material, etc., and gives a coating film hardly exhibiting decrease in lubricity by converting an amino compd. having a triazine ring into a methylol derivative in the presence of a silicone compd. and then into an ether derivative. CONSTITUTION:An amino compd. having a triazine ring is converted into methylol derivative in the presence of a silicone compd. and, if necessary, further into ether derivative amino compd., though not specifically limited, pref. has a reactive group such as a hydroxyl or glycidyl group at its molecular ends, and one having a group of the formula (wherein n1 and n3 are such 0 or 1; n2 is 0-150 provided n1, n2, and n3 are not simultaneously 0; R1 is a 30C or lower alkylene; R2 is a 34C or lower alkylene; R3 is a 18C or lower alkylene; and X is H or OH) is pref. because of its hydrophobicity and anchor effects. The amino compd. (e.g. melamine or benzoguanamine) is reacted with an aldehyde to give a methylol derivative in the presence of the silicone compd. and then etherified by condensation through dehydration. The amt. of the silicone compd. used is 0.1-90wt.% of the resulting compsn. A coating film contg. the compsn. does not exhibit decrease in lubricity due to boiling water. |
