PURPOSE:To provide a color ink jet print head which can be downsized by reducing head width in the direction of main scanning and which provides good print quality. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 11 wherein channel patterns 11a to 11d having common ink channels 14a and others and pressure chambers 12a and others, are placed in the direction of subsidiary scanning. Nozzle trains 16a and others present an angle of about 7 degrees with the direction of main scanning. The nozzle trains 16a to 16d are separated at an interval about 2 times the print width of the nozzle train 16a in the direction of subsidiary scanning. Ink of the different colors of Y(yellow), M(magenta), C(cyan) and BK(black) are supplied to each of the ink channel patterns 11a and others to perform color printing. |
