摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a compact catalyst for removing nitrogen oxide low in deterioration of denitration activity and also high in mechanical strength and excellent in durability and heat resistance by using a specified glass fiber while paying attention to an elution of a calcium component incorporated in the glass fiber. CONSTITUTION:In the catalyst carrying an active metallic component on a carrier consisting essentially of a titanium oxide containing the glass fiber, a CaO elution rate in the glass fiber is restricted to <=5wt.%.
