<p>A tooth replacement assembly includes a replacement tooth (14) whose interior (41) is hollow, which has a sidewall (45) with an elongated slot (46), and a cap (12) having a laterally protruding flange (38). The flange (38) of the cap (12) slidably and frictionally engages the sidewall slot (46) of the replacement tooth (14), and extends throught he sidwall slot (46) into the hollow interior of the replacement tooth (14). The flange (38) is then locked in place by at least partially filling the interior of the replacement tooth (14) with a bonding material.</p> |
