PURPOSE: To obtain an insecticidal composition by combining any of various insecticides with an organic ammonium salt. CONSTITUTION: This insecticide composition is obtained by combining an inorganic or organic ammonium salt of formula I (R<1> to R<4> are each H or an organic substituted group bonded through a C-N bond; X<n-> is an anion of an inorganic or organic (n)-basic acid; (n) is 1-3) with at least one compound selected from the group of the following 8 insecticides. The group of the insecticides is silafluofen of formula II, MTI of formula III, imidacloprid of formula IV, ethofenprox of formula V, PP682 of formula VI, TI304, a natural or synthetic pyrethroid and a phosphoric ester. A combination of an alkylbenzyl- dimethyl ammonium chloride and silafluofen is especially preferable as the composition. The composition is effective against mites, boat bugs, pilbugs, insects of the genus Geophilus, cockroaches, Scutigera spp., Asiatic locust, lice, aphids, termites, etc. |
