摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a sintered compact by compacting and firing a mixture of alumina granules with inorg. compd. particles contg. Si particles and MgAl2O4 type spinel multiple oxide particles. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of alumina granules with inorg. compd. particles contg. at least Si particles and MgAl2O4 type spinel multiple oxide particles is compacted and fired to bring abpit an oxidation reaction and a chemical reaction and the objective ceramic consisting of innumerable alumina grains 1 and Mg2Al4Si5O18 type cordierite multiple oxide grains 2 positioned among the alumina grains 1 is obtd.
