PURPOSE: To efficiently mold a arcuate hollow article by arranging a first mold block having a plurality of arcuate cavities between second and third mold blocks and moving the first and second mold blocks at a time of molding by a slide carrier provided with a plurality of inside cores. CONSTITUTION: The first mold block 26 between second and third mold blocks 78, 80 is made movable and two opposed surfaces 82, 84 are provided with a plurality of arcuate cavities 86. The second mold block 78 moves along with a first platen 20 and the third mold block 80 is stationary and theses cavities 88 are designed to mate with the cavities 86 when a stack mold 12 is closed. In this case, the inside cores arranged to the arcuate cavities 86 forming a hollow interior in each of molded articles are provided to respective slide carriers 106, 110. As a result, more articles are formed per one cycle by many cavities. |
