The cable laying rack comprises a number of tongue members (2) at a predetermined distance from one another bent to a grooved formation. The tongue members in their extension plane and in the rack (1) longitudinal direction are displaced laterally relatively to one another to form three longitudinal compartments screened from one another. Abutting tongue members are displaced relatively to one another from their theoretical symmetry centre line, every other member to the right and every other member to the left, when viewed in the rack longitudinal direction. The tongue members are fixed relatively to each other by means of wire components (8) extending in the rack longitudinal direction and connected to the under side of the tongue members.
