This relates to the manufacturing of a modified polyester resin composition using silicone compd. Silicone modified polyester resin composition is prepared by 1)condensation of silicone 5-15 wt.%, n-pentylglycol 75-90wt.% and diethylene glycol 10-25wt.%; 2)adding terephthalic acid 65-70wt.%, adiphic acid 5-15wt.%, esterification catalyst 0.05-0.5wt.% and heating; and 3)adding trimelitic acid anhydride 10-25wt.% and esterfcation catalyst 0.01-0.1wt.%. The powder paint is composed of silicone modified polyester resin 4-60wt.%, epoxy resin 20-40wt.%, titanium oxide 10-30wt.%, curing accelerator and additives 0.2-4wt.%.
