PURPOSE:To provide the ticket collection box of the entrance gate device which is so constituted that tickets thrown in the ticket collection box are accumulated uniformly and dispersedly over the entire area in the box without being concentratively deposited nearby its throw-in opening. CONSTITUTION:The ticket collection box is incorporated in the main body 1 of the entrance gate device which automatically examines tickets by checking information on the ticket 7 that a visitor carries; and air holes 12a and 12b are bored in the front and rear end surfaces of the ticket collection box 12 and then an air blow fan 11 is provided outside the box opposite to the air hole in the end surface which is close to the ticket throw-in hole 12c. On detecting a ticket which falls in a shooter 11 from the ticket insertion opening 6 of the gate main body 1 through a card reader 10, a sensor 15 actuates the air blow fan to blow air to the ticket thrown in the ticket collection box, and the air is supplied to the inner side of the box to disperse tickets over the entire area in the box, thereby depositing them uniformly. |
