PURPOSE:To obtain good flatness of a repaired part and to retouch at once by electrodeposition coating even when defects are present in many colors, by forming an electrodeposition coating film of a specified color in a defect part and then hardening the electrodeposition coating film in the defect part with heat or UV rays. CONSTITUTION:In the color filter, in the case where a transparent electrode 2 is formed on all over the substrate 1, a part of pixel 3 containing colors of R, G, B and black stripes is missed 4. When missing 4 is caused on the pixel 3, the electrode 2 on the color filter is electrically connected again to form an electrodeposition coating film of the specified color again in the missed part 4 by electrodeposition method. After the electrodeposition coating film of the specified color is formed in the missed part 4 by electrodeposition method, the electrodeposition coating film formed in the missed part 4 is hardened with heat or UV rays. Thus, missing defects can be easily repaired with an easy operation. |
