PURPOSE:To provide a sealed storage battery capable of preventing electrolyte leakage caused by squeezing out of a free electrolyte separated from a retainer. CONSTITUTION:One common exhaust vent 2d is formed in a molding cap 2 which liquidtightly seals an opening of a container main body. Two exhaust passages 3a, 3b are formed in the molding cap 2 so as to extend from the common exhaust vent 2d to slant down part. When one exhaust passage is blocked by a free electrolyte, gas existing inside a container is exhausted through the other exhaust passage to prevent electrolyte leakage to the outside. |
