摘要 |
PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution and simultaneously the energizing method of an EL element. CONSTITUTION:A p channel MOS type FET 2 applies a writing voltage (+Vw) on the scanning electrode 1a of an EL element 1. An n channel MOS type FET 3 applies a refreshing voltage (-Vre) having a polarity opposite to the writing voltage on the scanning electrode 1a of the EL element 1. The anode of a diode 5 and the cathode of it are connected respectively with the data side electrode 1b of the EL element 1 and with the modulation voltage (+Vm) having the same polarity as the writing voltage. An n channel MOS type FET 4 is connected with the data side electrode 1b of the EL element 1 and the anode of the diode 5.
