PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical instrument which can display various information on a single display device. CONSTITUTION:The electronic musical instrument, which generates a musical sound signal by inputting musical performance information from outside, is equipped with a pulse width expanding means 11 which expands the pulse width of the musical performance information signal received from outside until a man can recognize it, at least one monitor means which detects an internal state of the device such as a drop in source voltage, at least one oscillation means 12 which oscillates under control based upon the output of the monitor means and generates the signal with cycles that the man can recognize, an arithmetic means 27 which performs logical operation between the output signal of the pulse width expanding means and output signals of one or plural oscillation means, and a display means 28 which makes a display on the basis of the output of the arithmetic means. |
