PURPOSE:To accurately and stably form a cell barrier, regardless of a material used for an electrode or a photosensitive material for forming a protection mask corresponding to a cell barrier pattern. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a gas electric discharge panel having a cell barrier 13 on the inner surface of at least one of a front plate 11 and a rear plate 12, an electrode 17 on a plane to form the barrier 13 is subjected to a process for being covered and impregnated with a water resistant conductive material, before a process for forming the barrier 13 at a sand blasting process. As a result, electrode surface and electrode constituent particles are maintained in such state as covered with the water resistant conductive material. Thus, the electrode 17 becomes resistant against grinding at the sand blasting process. |
