PURPOSE:To enable a stable display with high precision in a large screen by supplying pixel signals having polarities opposite each other to signal lines separated at the center part respectively to cancel noise components at common electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Respective signal lines are separated at the center part of a liquid crystal display panel to be divided into upper side signal lines DU1 to DU6 and lower side signal lines DL1 to DL6. Pixel cells are arranged at intersecting points of scanning lines G1 to GM and signal lines DU, DL. Drain drivers of an upper side and a lower side output pixel signals having phases opposite each other in parallel. For example, scanning lines G1 to GN of the upper side panel are selected successively by the gate driver and pixel signals are supplied successively to the upper side signal lines DU and then write of pixel signals is performed successively with respect to selected pixel signals. At this time, pixel signals each having opposite phase are supplied to the lower side signal lines DL. However, the scanning lines GN+1 to GM of the lower side panel are in non-selection state. |
