<p>PURPOSE:To provide a power supply unit of small size and light weight and capable of supplying a stable DC power to electronic equipment without being affected by the interruption of an AC power source and charging with high efficiency without shortening the service life of a secondary battery. CONSTITUTION:This unit is constituted in such a way that a power can be supplied to the electronic equipment 1 via the positive electrode terminal 3 for feed and negative electrode terminal 4 for feed of the power supply unit 2. Also, it is constituted in such a way that cell blocks 5a, 5b consisting of two pairs of secondary batteries and a charge/discharge control part 6 are provided in the inside of the power supply unit 2, and the power to charge the blocks 5a, 5b can be supplied from an AC adaptor 9 via the charge/discharge control part 6. The charge/discharge control part 6 monitors the charged/ discharged state of the cell blocks 5a. 5b, and performs control so as to repeat the application of charge/discharge to both cell blocks alternately. The AC adaptor 9 only supplies the power to charge the cell blocks without performing feed to the electronic equipment 1.</p> |
