<p>PURPOSE:To detect the newest dischargeable capacity by detecting the dischargeable capacity of a secondary battery from a battery capacity detected by a battery capacity detection means. CONSTITUTION:The battery voltage of a secondary battery 11 is measured by a voltage detection part 22 and the battery voltage is supplied to a remaining capacity judging part 24. The judging part 24 judges the presence or absence of a remaining capacity before charging the secondary battery 11 with a battery voltage measured by the detection part 22 and transmits the judgment result information to a charge capacity detection part 23. After that, when charging is initiated, the charge current during the charging is measured by a current detection part 21 and is supplied to the detection part 23. When the detection part 23 receives 'no remaining capacity' information of the battery 11 from the remaining capacity judging part 24, the detection part 23 calculates the charge capacity of the battery 11 from the charge current measured by the detection part 21 and outputs the capacity as the chargeable capacity. Then, the detection part 23 detects the charge capacity at the time of completion of the charging as the chargeable capacity, when the charging has completed.</p> |
