<p>PURPOSE:To perform the data compression of an image according to the magnification of the image. CONSTITUTION:A frame memory 2 stores the image obtained by a CCD camera, etc., and a magnification storage part 3 stores the magnification of this image. An image processing part 1 reads the magnification of this image from the magnification storage part 3 when the data compression of the image is performed, refers to a table showing the relation of the magnification of the inside of a compressibility storage part 5 and a compressibility and determines the compressibility which is optimum to this magnification.</p> |
