PURPOSE:To control the rotational speed of a DC motor by forming a shaping waveform in a pulse shaping waveform by making the pulse width of a section having large amplitude in the shaping waveform smaller than that of a section having small amplitude and adjusting the pulse width as a whole. CONSTITUTION:Automatic control is conducted in such a manner that the voltage of a smoothed waveform, voltage V1 applied to a DC motor M, is detected by a voltage detecting section 12, the voltage V1 is fed back to a control pulse generating section 11, and the voltage V1 is stabilized. The speed of a DC motor M is controlled by varying the set value of the voltage V1 by adjusting a rheostat VR1. A waveform distortion factor is reduced because currents are made to flow extending over the whole phase angle of a rectifying waveform, and a capacitor C1 and a choke coil CH1 are miniaturized because the frequency of the pulsation component of a puls rectifying waveform is made higher than a commercial AC power supply SAC. Accordingly, an equipment is compacted. |
