PURPOSE:To provide an electric field intensity display device for portable communication apparatus where the intensity of the electric field is easily confirmed. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting part 12 is provided where plural light emitting bodies 12a to 12e are arranged in the lengthwise direction of an antenna part 10 projecting from a main body 3. The voltage output corresponding to the intensity of the electric field for use is sent to a control IC 32 from a transmission/reception part 31 to light the light emitting bodies 12a to 12e in order from the root side of the antenna part 10.
