MOTION VECTOR DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To reduce a circuit scale by reducing the capacity of a centroid point memory by the motion vector detector of a centroid point matching system. CONSTITUTION:The capacity of the centroid memory 3 is set to be ((M+1)XN). The centroid point memory 3 is controlled so as to write picture element data of the centroid point of a next time to a low address just before the reading address of the centroid point memory 3. The centroid point read from the centroid point memory is latched to a latch circuit 6 so as to comapare picture element data of the latched centroid point and that in a searching range so as to obtain remaining difference.
