PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the arithmetic operation of the commutation phase-angle of an inverter, and to obtain smooth speed control. CONSTITUTION:A DC linear motor exclusive for thrust is manufactured, an inverter 14 commutating output currents from a converter 11 to each phase of an armature coil 15 in accordance with positions of the field magnet 16 of a moving body to the armature coil 15 arranged on the ground side is provided, and a speed control output corresponding to the deviation of the speed set value and speed detecting value of the moving body is obtained by a speed control system 19. A current control system 13 controls the output currents from the converter 11 by using the speed control output from the speed control system as a current command, and a commutation phase-angle selecting section 21 changes over the communication phase angle of the inverter into an electrical angle of zero or an electrical angle of pi in accordance with acceleration and deceleration decided from the direction of variation of the speed control output. |
