PURPOSE: To make an armature assembly further universally adaptable to different types of hubs and shafts to reduce cost of production and stock of the armature assembly. CONSTITUTION: An armature assembly 20 is made of plastic capable of elastically bending and is provided with a spider 25 supporting an annular armature plate 29. A mounting plate 35 is insert molded within the spider 25 and is assembled by a tubular hub 36 which can be mounted on a shaft 12. By the mounting plate 35, the armature assembly 20 can be mounted on various types of hubs 36 with no change to this armature assembly 20 or with very little change.
