PURPOSE:To provide a small and inexpensive stripping mechanism which can deal with other type of wire harness with high workability. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cutter carriers R1, R2 are disposed on the opposite sides of a wire feed path PH. The cutter carriers R1, R2 carry a plurality of types of stripping cutters 20 integrally. A specific cutter 20 is opposed to a wire W by driving a cutting unit 105 to displace the carrier relatively to the wire feed path PH. Since a cutter 20 corresponding to the type of wire can be selected by simply driving the cutter 20, the mechanism for selecting the cutter 20 15 simplified to contribute to the reduction in size of wire stripper. Furthermore, other type of wire harness can be dealt with because the type of cutter 20 can be increased. |
