OPTICAL-CONTRAST ACHIEVING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide optimal optical contrast to detect a register mark of a full color electrostatographic printer. CONSTITUTION: A bicell detector 100 is shown at a detecting position. Width 110 of color toner is placed on an intermediate belt 10 for one color toner which has high diffuse reflectivity, and a mark is formed by leaving a space 112 in the shape of the mark to be detected on the width 110. Angular marks 114 are placed on the width 110 of bright color toner.
