PURPOSE:To easily and accurately adjust the direction of an antenna installation by connecting a means displaying command data for adjusting a position of an antenna to a cable tying a conversion means and a reception means and locating the display means in the vicinity of the antenna. CONSTITUTION:A TV signal received by an antenna 29 is converted into an intermediate frequency signal at a converter 27 and the converted signal is fed to a tuner 29 via a coaxial cable 28. On the other hand, since a reception state display device 31 displaying a level of a received signal and its scramble system based on data generated by a tuner 29 is connected interposingly to a coaxial cable 28 tying the converter 27 and the tuner 29, the direction of installation of the antenna 26 is easily and accurately adjusted by placing the display device 31 in the vicinity of the antenna 26. When a broadcast channel is discriminated, the direction of the antenna 26 is adjusted while selecting a desired channel by the tuner 29.
