<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the electronic musical instrument which securely prevent a noise due to the resonance of strings from being generated even in electronic musical performance mode. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a musical performance on the acoustic piano, a string-strike sound can be made weak only by arranging a muffler pedal 16 at a 1st fixed position even when the muffler pedal 16 is stepped on as usual, and at the time of a musical performance on an electronic piano using an electronic sound source, an auxiliary damper member 43 is brought into contact with and pressed against strings S only by further stepping on and arranging the muffler pedal 16 at a 2nd fixed position. Thus, the conspicuous effects that the strings are stopped from being struck and the strings are prevented from vibrating are easily obtained. This operation can be performed by using the conventional muffler pedal 16, so switches, etc., need not be provided specially and the advantage that the outward appearance of the piano is not spoiled is obtained; and further player's operation is easy and there is no feeling of physical disorder.</p> |
