<p>PURPOSE:To scroll and magnify/reduce the images shown on the display screen of a display part by a simple operation by changing these shown images in response to the detected acceleration. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration detecting part 100 detects the value and the direction of acceleration in response to the right-left, up-down and front-back movements of a portable terminal main body which is operated by an operator. A arithmetic part 101 calculates the change information (scroll direction/value and magnification/reduction rates) on the images shown on the screen of an image display part 103 based on the value and the direction of the acceleration detected by the part 100. All image display control part 102 controls an image memory part 105 and the part 103 based on the image display change information received from the part 101. Thus it is not required for the operator to push buttons at each time for scroll and magnification/reduction operations on the screen nor to click a scroll bar or an icon within the screen.</p> |
