PURPOSE:To provide the document processor which can be started without any format error at all times when a printer which has a different prescribed format from a user original format is connected. CONSTITUTION:When the document processor is started, the user original format is acquired (step S01) and it is decided whether or not the acquired user original format meets the format of a currently connected printer (step S02). For this decision making, respective pieces of information on the user original format are compared with respective pieces of information on the format of the currently connected printer and it is decided whether or not the user original format meets the format of the currently connected printer on the basis of the comparison result. When it is decided that there is no adaptivity, a document preparing process is newly started with a default format allowing the formats of all printers (step S03). When the adaptivity is decided, a document process is newly started with the user original format (step S04). |
