<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic recording/reproducing device capable of preventing erroneous operations of a system caused by slackening a tape when loading is temporarily stopped. CONSTITUTION:This is a magnetic recording/reproducing device provided with a tape pulling out means 14 for pulling out a magnetic tape 2 from a tape cassette 3 and winding it on a rotary head drum 1 and a detecting means 11 for detecting the start and end of the magnetic tape 2. It is further provided with a detecting operation control means 16 for stopping the operation of the detecting means 11 for detecting the start and end of the magnetic tape when the tape pulling out operation of the tape pulling out means 14 is temporarily stopped and a certain passage of time after this stop.</p> |
