<p>PURPOSE:To provide a gas insulated switchgear which allows operation on the sound side while monitoring the gas for the circuit on the sound side and for a bus section unit with a main bus being sectioned through the bus section unit into the inspection/ maintenance side and the sound side at the time of maintenance/inspection of a bus machine. CONSTITUTION:A main bus connected with a plurality of lines and arranged with a bus section unit is housed in an enclosure 14 encapsulating an insulating gas. The enclosure is sectioned into a plurality of gas sections each coupled in parallel with a gas piping 5. A regulation valve 6 is provided between adjacent gas sections. The gas piping coupled with the gas section of a bus section unit 9 is coupled with a unit 7 for monitoring the pressure and density of gas. When the main bus is sectioned by the bus section unit 9 into the maintenance/inspection side and the sound side, the gas piping can also be sectioned into the maintenance/inspection side and the sound side by closing the regulation valve between the gas piping for the gas section of the bus section unit and the gas piping on the maintenance/inspection side. Since the gas section where the bus section unit is provided is coupled with the sound side, the sound side can be operated while monitoring the gas for the line on the sound side and for the bus section unit.</p> |
