PURPOSE:To provide an image vertically enlarging device capable of vertically enlarging an image at an enlargement magnification of an optional decimal point or below. CONSTITUTION:A video RAM 1 outputs the image data as the serial data according to a display clock. A magnification counter 4 sets the magnification of the optional decimal point or below. A line address counter 3 generates a line address according to the set magnification. An address multiplexer 2 switches an address outputted from a CPU to the line address to input it to the video RAM 1. Since the line address becomes overlapped value according to the set magnification, the image data are enlarged in the vertical direction. The enlarged image data are D/A converted by a D/A converter 5 to be displayed on a display device. |
