PURPOSE:To deal with a POS device of a special commodity and to reduce the work of employee. CONSTITUTION:An input means for inputting a commodity code for specifying the commodity, a PLU file 201 holding relation between the commodity code and commodity information, a memory 102 for storing the inputted commodity, a control part 101 controlling the operation of the device, an output means displaying the state of the device in accordance with the instruction of the control part 101 are provided. Information showing whether it is a commodity on which the edge of a commodity purchaser is restricted or not, information showing whether the number of the sales of the commodities is restricted or not, information showing whether the price of the commodity fluctuates by the number of the purchased commodities and information showing whether the commodities are time service ones whose costs fluctuate by purchased time are given to the PLU file 201. When the commodity code is inputted from the input means, the control part refers to the PLU file 201, judges to which commodity the commodity concerned is applied. When the applied commodity exists, output showing the effect is executed to the output means. |
