PURPOSE:To provide the keyboard musical instrument which can generate the same musical sound with a normal musical performance in a mute musical performance and to accurately record the normal musical performance when the normal musical performance is performed. CONSTITUTION:This keyboard musical instrument is equipped with a key 10, a hammer mechanism 40 which strikes corresponding strings S by rotating when the key 10 is pressed, a muting means 60 which stops the hammer mechanism 40 rotating by more than specified and then can select a state wherein the hammer 44 of the hammer mechanism 40 does not strike the strings S, and a detecting means 70 which detects a specific place of the hammer mechanism 40 at a specific position in front of the hammer 44 strikes the strings S. The detecting means 70 is equipped with a selecting means 72 which selects a 1st detection position where the specific place of the hammer mechanism 40 is detected before the hammer 44 strikes the strings S or a 2nd detection position where the specific position of the hammer mechanism is detected at the specific position in front of the position where the hammer mechanism is stopped from rotating. |
