<p>PURPOSE:To correct the contrast ratio of a video projected on a film surface to be within a proper range even when the contrast ratio in a photographing range is extremely high. CONSTITUTION:As for this still camera where the video made incident from a lens 1 is allowed to pass through a filter 3 and projected to expose the film surface 2; an image sensor 4 is constituted by two-dimensionally arranging plural photoconductive cells. Then, it is equipped with a means 5 for projecting a video equivalent to the video made incident from the lens 1 to the image sensor 4. The filter 3 is constituted of a liquid crystal filter having two- dimensionally arranged control areas corresponding to each photoconductive cell. By providing a controller 6 variably controlling the light transmissivity in the control area by adjusting voltage impressed on each control area of the filter 3 based on an output signal from the photoconductive cell corresponding to the control area, the contrast ratio of the video projected on the film surface is corrected to be within the proper range.</p> |
