<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method for performing access to menu selection in an application program picture without disturbing the position of a cursor in the working area of the picture. CONSTITUTION: A method and device for simultaneously controlling two coordinate devices, namely, application program picture areas are obtained by controlling one coordinate device, namely, one picture area by moving a mouse main body 10 on a working surface and, at the same time, controlling the other coordinate device, namely, the other picture area by independently operating a thumb actuating type input device on the main body 10. A mouse housing is designed so that the control of each coordinate device can be promoted without affecting the control of the other device.</p> |
