PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchanger in which an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe of heat exchanging medium can be connected to an arbitrary position even if a vehicle is different and used components can be made commonly. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger is formed by laminating many stages of a plurality of tube elements via fins, disposing end plates at both ends of a laminating direction, disposing a passage plate 7 formed with supply passage 5 and a discharge passage 5 of heat exchanging medium at one end plate side, and connecting inlet pipe 8 and outlet pipe 9 of the medium to the passages 5 and 6 of the plate 7. Lengths of the passages 5 and 6 of the plate 7 are extended upward to an allowable range in which the pipes 8 and 9 can be connected to an arbitrary height position.
