发明名称 METHOD FOR SEPARATING NOBLE METAL PRODUCED THROUGH NUCLEAR FISSION
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a method wherein noble metals contained in insoluble residue and high radioactive level waste water produced in the reprocessing process of spent nuclear fuel is separated and collected by a lead-fusion, and lead alloys containing noble metals are dissolved into nitric acid, lead in the solution is oxidized at the anode and removed in the form of lead dioxide. CONSTITUTION:Noble metals contained in and high level waste water insoluble residue produced in the reprocessing process of spent nuclear fuel is collected by lead fusion and lead alloys containing noble metals are dissolved into nitric acid. Lead in the solution is then oxidized at an anode set with a potential of +1.4-1.7V with reference to a standard electrode of silver/silver chloride and removed in the form of lead dioxide. This method for separating noble metals produced through nuclear fission can be applied quite effectively to a facility handling an especially high radioactive substance.</p>
