PURPOSE:To automatically perform adequate correction with respect to the change with time and optical stain on a photoreceptor drum. CONSTITUTION:A standard white original 1 placed on an original platen 2 is irradiated with a previously set initial referential exposure, reflected light is sampled by an optical detector 14, and the output value of an original density signal outputted from a noninverting amplifier 33 is adjusted to be an adequate value. Next, a standard density board 3 is irradiated with a referential exposure obtained after adjustment, the reflected light is sampled by the optical detector 14, and the output value of the original density signal outputted from the noninverting amplifier 33 is adjusted again to the adequate value. Thus, the original always having an adequate density can be obtained. |
