PURPOSE:To execute sensibility evaluation to vehicle characteristics without using a vehicle produced in trial and to exactly reflect the results of the evaluation to vehicle design with a simulation apparatus which enables an evaluating person to have spurious experience of a state of riding on a vehicle for the purpose of evaluating the vehicle characteristics. CONSTITUTION:Stimuli are imparted to a plurality of the sensation of the evaluating person by a simulator 16. At this time, the vehicle characteristics are simulated by plural parameters and the sensation to be subjected to stimulus impartation and the stimulus impartation quantity are set according to the contents of these parameters by a computer 12 and are outputted to the simulator via a controller. The parameters are adjusted according to the manual operations based on the results of the sensibility evaluation of the evaluating person subjected to the stimulus impartation by an adjusting device 18. The parameters after the adjustment are outputted from the computer 12 as design data so as to be reflected in the vehicle design when the satisfactory results of the sensibility evaluation are obtd. |
