PURPOSE:To adjust the positions of timewise centroids when a still image system signal and a dynamic image system signal are mixed. CONSTITUTION:A MUSE signal is inserted between frames by field memories 11 and 12 and an inter-frame insertion circuit 13 in a still image system. The sampling rate of the output signal S5 is converted in a D/D conversion circuit 15, and the conversion output signal S7 is inserted between the fields in an inter-field insertion part 30. At that time, an inter-field insertion processing by a signal S32 obtained by adding the signal S7 of the present field and a signal S31 previous to the signal by two fields and by a signal S38 previous to the signal S32 by one field is performed. A signal S10 obtained as a result is inputted to a mixing circuit 21. On the other hand, the sampling rate of the output of an intra-field insertion circuit 19 is converted in a D/D conversion circuit 20 and it is inputted to the mixing circuit 21 in a dynamic image system. |
