<p>PURPOSE: To improve the resolution of a device for converting mechanical variable into electrical variable and, at the same time, to reduce the power consumption of the device by displacing a sliding contact pair among conductor paths of the number required for specific resolution so that drive signals can be transmitted as evaluate signals through the contacted conductor paths. CONSTITUTION: One end of a sliding contact pair SK is driven by an electrical drive signal on the contact surface of the two contacts and the other end of the contact pair SK is displaced among conductor paths L1-L8 which are passed in parallel through a surface division by the number necessary for specific resolution. When the contact pair SK is displaced, drive signals are transmitted as evaluate signals through the contacted conductor paths L1-L8. Therefore, the resolution of a device for converting mechanical variable into electrical variable can be improved and, at the same time, the power consumption of the device can be reduced.</p> |
