摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a color image forming device capable of preventing the impressed voltage of a corona discharger wire for transferring from being excessively high in the case of multiple transferring, excellently performing the transferring without degrading image quality due to toner scatter and unnecessitating even a destaticizing corona discharger for adjusting the potential or the charge amount of a transferring material holding member constituted of a dielectric body by providing a means for suppressing peeling discharging after transferring and nipping without causing paper jamming and image irregularity after transferring. CONSTITUTION:A destaticizing member 20 destaticizing the back surface of the transferring material holding member 3 is provided on the back surface side of a toner image transferring part of the member 3 opposed to the image carrier 1 and on an area from at least just behind the nipping part between the image carrier 1 and the member 3 to a downstream side in the moving direction of the member 3. The member 20 is constituted of a grounded thin- layer conductive member 21 being in contact with the back surface of the member 3 and a thin-layer dielectric member 22 covering the area on the electrostatic transferring means side of the member 21.
