The battery of cages is constructed such that the base is able to support a number of individual metallic wire cages, arranged side by side, forming at least one horizontal row. The frame consists of a primary front (3) and a secondary rear (4) horizontal beam, which are parallel and with the rear beam at a higher level than the front beam.The cages are formed by individual wire mesh side walls, which are fixed to both beams, with a common part formed from a folded mesh, which forms the floor and rear walls of the cages and which is fixed to the front beam and to the lower edge of the individual side walls. Each of the cages has a piece of folded mesh to form the front face and the upper cover, which has an access hole to allow for the passage of the head of the bird.
